"Absolutely loved this place! Great for one person up to a small group or family. Looks exactly as advertised. With some amenities, a 7/11, and small restaurants nearby. The private onsen and terrace view was amazing. Place is close to bus stations for easy transportation. (But not near any trains be aware of that) And close to the pier for boat rides. My only problem was that I had a hard time checking in. I never received an email with check in details and had no cell service to call anyone. I was locked out of the building for a good 30 minutes. Thankfully some friendly people showed me to a check in tablet inside and I was able to video call and get everything sorted. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful. Despite the bad experience at the beginning, I really enjoyed my time here. I deinitely recommend staying here but would love to see improvement for check in. Maybe having the check in tablet outside by the front door would be helpful to prevent issues like this"

"Loved our stay here !! It was quite a trek to get there so definitely not the easiest if your plan is to come and go to explore Hakone. We didnt even end up leaving the facility because it was raining so much but just had a relaxing spa day instead. The private onsens (both in the room and the ones you reserve in 30mins alotments) were amazing. But the game changer was dinner - it was served a few courses at a time to our room directly and one of the best meals we've had in Japan. Everyone who worked there were so kind and treated us like family. Would stay here again!"

"Amazing stay! All the staff were very kind and helpful. We got the double with the bigger bathtub on the balcony. The room was very clean and spacious. There's beautiful garden in the bottom floor which was perfect for a night stroll after dinner. The kaiseki dinner was good. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There's also a shuttle that takes you to hook station. "

"Amazing place, stayed two nights with a lake view. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay in Hakone. Car is necessary to get around, to and from the hotel and all the sites. "

"This was our favorite place to be on our recent trip to Japan. The hotel, staff, level of service is OUTSTANDING! The staff was incredible- they treat their guests with gratitude and kindness. My family always felt welcomed. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed dinner in the restaurant each evening and was never disappointed. We plan to return and stay lingering "
