Best vacation in a Long Time
Everything was as advertised. The kitchen was particularly impressive. The house had spectacular views of the canal from almost every room. Having morning coffee on the main floor deck was a relaxing and zen-like experience. It was clear to me the house was well taken care of. I was amazed that each bathroom had soap and each shower had shampoo and body wash. The house was spotless when we walked in, the dogs loved exploring the grounds and, had it been warmer, we would have taken advantage of the fire pit and the yard. It is a relaxing and zen-like space that I would be proud to recommend to anyone.

Great country getaway
This is a great choice for friends and family who like to spend time together cooking and enjoying the outdoors. A large, open kitchen/living room arrangement connects to a large deck, making the combo like one large space. Lots of hiking, access to the pretty Delaware river and some interesting towns nearby. The rest of the house is very comfortable, with a lot of natural wood inside giving it a cozy, woodsy feel. The 3 bathrooms added to the convenience and a fire pit out back (wood provided) was the icing on the cake. Ron, the host, is very responsive and helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Great Price and Great Place
Fantastic location on the Delaware for river adventures. The owners are responsive and keep the place in great shape. We enjoyed checking out the trails, the fire pit, and had plenty of room for family meals whether grilling on the deck or escaping the rain inside. This was our second stay at the property and we continue to not be disappointed.

relaxing experience
This experience was truley amazing. During the trip we went to see a river that same river we could see from this cabin. The stay helped us all relax and have fun. The space was big and the rooms were amazing. Meanwhile our stay we spent it talking, playing board games and making a campfire it was very nice to connect with the family. The owner gave us more time to leave and didn't rush us out which we appricate that very much. Overall we had so much fun and enjoyed the stay.

Lovely stay!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the house -- the only thing to understand is that the Delaware River is across the highway -- so the views are from the windows, there's not a beautiful spot nearby to sit by the river.

A wonderful home to gather family
Family arrived from Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Spain to celebrate our daughter’s wedding at the nearby Mountain View Manor. Ron, the owner was just wonderful! He was easy to communicate with and was always attentive to our needs. The house was comfortable clean and well equipped … it was all we could’ve asked for and more!!!
