"We booked the hotel for a 7 day visit. The location was amazing, especially if your trip is focused on midtown: we walked to Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central, Empire State... lots and lots of food options nearby and an amazing bodega right around the corner and a cozy and delicious little cafe. Shout out to reception desk who were amazing all the time there, the doorman (he rocks), and housekeeping. Everyone was cordial, including the waiters at Take Care restaurant. The room was ample of the 3 of us so we were grateful for that (that was one of the reasons that sold us the hotel) and there were plenty of space for our clothes and luggage. It was also quiet: we requested a quiet room and they gave us one in the corner of the 5th floor. Amazing. It had a view to Lexington street and even so we heard nothing but the occasional door slam (nothing that bothered us) and sometimes a car below, but it was really really quiet!) Our reservation let us choose 2 items every day from their selection, which we liked (apple juice, water bottle, chips, gatorade, etc). We were able to refill our water bottles in the fitness room every day. The restaurant in site, Take Care, is nice and the waiter was amazing, but the pancakes were not tasty"

"Hallways not clean. Staff nice/sort-of. Hotel room floors not very clean. Deco sad. My room very quiet. Would have been nice if shades and had curtains. If open curtains, NO PRIVACY. "

"As for the property itself, the location was excellent; however, we encountered several issues. For the first two days—while staying in room 3338—the air conditioning was not working. We called multiple times to report the problem, but no one ever came to address it. On the second day, they moved us to a different room—suite 2932—but the air conditioning wasn't working there either. From there, they moved us to room 2813; the AC worked fine in that one, but when my son went to lie down on the sofa bed, it turned out it hadn't been made up. Consequently, I had to give him a sheet from my own bed so he could cover himself."

"The hotel was very clean, beautiful, and surprisingly quiet for being in East Midtown. The walls had some extra insulation and fabric to help mute the sounds outside. The staff was very helpful and even let us borrow some umbrellas for a rainy day. Special shout out to Simeon for being so welcoming during our stay!"

"Very clean room, great service. Loved the 27th floor lounge overlooking the city. We did end up parking at an offsite location. It was $82 a night because we had an SUV."

"My daughter and I had a lovely 4 night stay at The Renwick. It’s a great location - about a 5 minute walk from Grand Central and on a quiet street (for Manhattan). The room was huge with 2 very comfortable double beds and a balcony (room 1506). Also, free bottles of water in the room each day. The staff were very friendly and although we didn’t eat in the hotel, the restaurant and bar was always busy which is a good sign. If we’re visiting again, we’d definitely stay there again. "
