"Loved the location of the hotel. Had a great room with kitchen and beautiful view. The property had a true relaxed, vacation fell to it. My only complaint was with the unexpected "resort fee" which was totally absurd. This is an unfair practice and I was tempted to knock my review down one star just for that...but I had too much fun otherwise. Still..."

"Be sure to carefully check the type of room you are assigned; although the image descriptions state "ocean view," you may be assigned a room with only a "partial ocean view"—yet you are still charged the full rate as if it were a true ocean-view room. Furthermore, if you file a complaint, they will neither issue a refund nor switch your room; they simply claim that the assigned view falls within their internal categorization of an "ocean view." Additionally, they offer a "continental breakfast"—which would typically imply the ability to choose from a variety of dishes—but in reality, there are only a few options available, and they charge extra for any modifications you request."
