Everything in the stateroom give you the feeling like this room is not fresh, scratch on the wood floor and furnitures, sofa is obviously used a lot. Stuff is good. Location is so so, construction next to the street, very noisy. Overall, not good experience and will not come back.

Awesome place stayed here for about 8 days 7 nights checked out late. Awesome service above abs beyond they will make you feel good about spending your money here. I will note if you’re coming from the airport there the rideshare is expensive like $50 and if you rent a car like my wife and I you’ll be paying $43 a night for parking at the Ritz that’s with taxes roughly. Not much street parking near by and it’s definitely not guaranteed if there is. At the time of my visit there was major construction going on right next door new building being built. They stop working at around 4pm Hawaii time. Not sure how early because my room was pretty good at blocking all the noice minus the reverse beeping. But seriously I’d go back and I’d stay here again it was lovely! Couldn’t ask for more or a better place to stay.

I have mixed feelings about staying here. It was pricey so I expected nothing but the best. Staff & customer service were top notch. Rooms were nicely sized. Washer/dryer in the room were excellent. No useless resort fee here which is nice. That said there were several things I wasn't happy with. The unit's maintenance is not up to standard. Chips in the cabinets, sinks that don't drain and visible mold under the stopper. While minor, this is a high-end hotel and I expected better condition. Housekeeping was hit and miss, one day they didn't even clean the sinks. Several days they didn't top up supplies (soap, water, laundry detergent). The kid's pool was so unbelievably cold. My kids had blue lips after spending 20 minutes in the pool. I could hardly get in it at all. We had to switch rooms twice, once due to them giving split single beds which were not comfy, the pillows were lumpy in this unit as well. The second room smelled like smoke. In fairness the staff comped breakfast for us which was well appreciated. Lastly, the bed slept SO hot. My wife and I would wake up drenched in sweat even with the cold air on set to high. The bed coverings do not promote any cooling. I have never woken up sweaty from sleeping anywhere before and my wife and I were drenched from the beds retaining heat. Overall, I have mixed feelings about whether it was worth the money to stay here.

Overall, the hotel was great. Some of the staff working at the pool and at the entrance were exceptionally attentive and nice. The kitchen could have been better stocked (no bowls for example). We also encountered a very snobby person at the restaurant downstairs who told us there were no tables available, yet there were many visibly empty ones. It made us feel very unwelcome.

My family and I enjoyed our 10 day stay at the ritz very much! The location was perfect and the staff were all so so kind. We had an excellent ocean view and the rooms were nice and quiet. Housekeeping was very kind and on top of keeping our kitchen and room clean and well stocked. They even prepared high chairs for my kids and a diaper pail!! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Waikiki!!
