Hotel was nice, quite clean but saw some grubby corners in the room, room was great size, staff in the pub and grill were so rude, lady asked us to wait at the entrance so we waited then another lady shouted as us to stand in the pub at the bar where there was a big sign to wait, hotel staff also heard this. Went down to the bar on the evening to order my daughter some food, went to tell the evening staff the situation that happened and she said ‘oh your that family’ so there on forward felt like we was the talk of the hotel, was so disappointed as we’d spent a lot of money to stay here for 3 nights, didn’t use the bar or the swimming facilities as felt like we walked out the room and everyone was talking between themselves.

Unfortunately our room was not clean and had a terrible smell. The carpet was dirty and it just generally looked quite run down and in need of a freshen up. They couldn’t offer another room as all family rooms were booked so we never stayed. We have stayed in other Village Hotels which were great but I couldn’t say the same about this one.
