"Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were very dated as far as amenities but very clean. We were only in need of somewhere to sleep for a few hours so the fact that it was very clean was all that really mattered. Breakfast was OK, not great. The muffins were frozen then thawed and were hard and tasteless but the waffles and most of the other food was good. Parking was available right in front of our door which was great. We are seniors and it made unloading and loading our luggage so much easier."

"Great value accommodation. Bed linens were crisp and clean, beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. The owners have obviously been replacing major fixtures over time, but some parts of the room were in need of some attention (i.e. paint in the bathroom could use a touch-up). Everything worked the way it should though, so for the price this was perfectly acceptable. It had a heated outdoor pool which is a nice touch and onsite restaurant but we did not use either one just due to the nature of our visit to the area. Given the location, I could see this being a very popular option for people looking for inexpensive, basic but clean accommodation. No complaints."

"The resort was good overall, nice location and the staff made a genuine effort to keep the property clean and maintained. The rooms were clean, but there was a noticeable musty smell that could be improved. Also, the staff at the Shipman Bar were not particularly welcoming or friendly, which took away from the overall experience.."
