"Great place with 2 exceptions. The shower floor is so slippery that it’s unsafe. Parking is a hassle when the small lot is full. Cars have to be moved at 8, 9 or 10 am depending on the street. The nearby public lot was closed except for permit holders due to construction. Enjoyed chatting with the breakfast chef. "

"Jody and Geoff are excellent hosts. Their house is charming and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty. I recommend getting the 5 course dinner, if available. It was a real treat."

"The rooms were beautiful. Better than the pictures. The only con is parking. It has a check mark for parking. It is free. However you will have to hike to the location- especially around 3 for check in. The playhouse and all of the restaurants make parking minimal. That being said it was the only con to my stay. "

"Highly recommend Upper Rideau ! The home is spotlessly clean. There are plenty of shared spaces with comfortable surroundings and outstanding water views. The hosts , Keith and Donna were super friendly and accommodating to our every need. The 3 course breakfast was really something to experience. The food was amazing, plentiful and beautifully presented. If you are considering Westport as a destination, Upper Rideau is a must experience."

"This property described as a deluxe suite was not deluxe It had a double bed with a shared bathroom, an air conditioning unit that had to be plugged in and made so much noise we couldn’t use it This place was so overpriced that I would not recommend it Host was very friendly and helpful but completely oversold the property "

"We were 5 friends getting together for a couple of days to relax and get caught up with each other. This property met all our expectations; it was clean, comfortable, beautiful decor, comfy beds, soaking tub and walk in shower, amazing view of the fall colours and river and so much more. Sitting by our night time campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows was definitely a highlight of our visit. We will be definitively booking again."
