"Staff were helpful and friendly, but we only spoke in Japanese so not sure if they accommodate guests from abroad very often. Food was ample and tasty (traditional Japanese foods) and served in the privacy of the room. Really Good Hotel In Kusatsu

"This hotel was great to stay in. The room was very spacious with tatami mats and two areas to sit down and relax/work on computer including a nice couch with a table and desk with a chair. The bed was very comfortable, the restaurant was delicious, and the spa was amazing. I had a great stay here."

"This ryokan was lovely- all the staff were so accommodating and made us feel very special! The ryokan itself is dainty and pleasant. There was public Onsens for women’s and men’s separate (in the women’s there was 1 indoor and 1 outdoor public Onsen with shower room inside). You can also book a private Onsen when you arrive - they have 45 min time slots for 3000 yen! Also very quick walk to Yubatake and the bus station! Would recommend"

"Breakfasts were excellent. Every staff were friendly and we really felt like home. Location is nearby the major travel spot but not noisy. Everything is good, just a very little thing: moved luggages by hand to room at 2nd floor. To me as a hushand and a daddy, it meant luggages of 3 persons I moved. "
