The ryokan is centrally located and the building and rooms are in great condition. The service was amazing from check-in and even after checking out-- the ryokan will offer to hold your luggage after checking out if you wanted to do more sightseeing before leaving town. I loved the rotenburo-- the onsen is kept clean and very relaxing. The ryokan itself is dainty and pleasant. There was public Onsens for women’s and men’s separate (in the women’s there was 1 indoor and 1 outdoor public Onsen with shower room inside). You can also book a private Onsen when you arrive - they have 45 min time slots for 3000 yen! Also very quick walk to Yubatake and the bus station!
