« Beautiful view, comfortable accomodations, clean, hot water and well situated in Kibuye. It’s a bit hard to find as Google maps redirects us to broken down roads and unusable ones, so call the place for directions, once Google gets the right road, it will direct you properly. « We stayed 3 nights in mid April. First, do not let the rainy season deter you. The rains did come in the late afternoons and the trekking was a little muddy, but I think it is likely the best time to gorilla trek and/or look for the golden monkeys. « Exceedingly lovely staff. So many nice surprises like burning fireplaces in the rooms with hot water bottles in the beds, foot rubs and shoe cleanings after our hike. Mattresses were amazing. Food was quite good, the included breakfast is expansive. Very beautiful grounds. Live dancing one night. Lovely dog Sparky. A few words of caution: most of our showers did not have hot water. « Etablissement avec très grandes chambres et des lits immenses avec moustiquaires. Le restaurant est également de qualité, avec des petits-déjeuners copieux. Le personnel est disponible et professionnel. La vue est superbe. Le seul point noir : le bruit, vu que l'hôtel est situé à proximité de la route. Il faut très difficile de trouver le sommeil à cause des camions qui circulaient à proximité. »

Voor onze safari naar de Golden Monkeys was het een heel goede locatie, ook voor de Gorilla safari in Rwanda is het een goede plek. Het eten was uitgebreid , maar de kwaliteit viel een beetje tegen. »

Da kamen zu viele, die sich mit dem selben Namen vorgestellt haben und behaupteten, sie arbeiten mit Macheoecolodge zusammen. Das war undurchsichtig. -> Da kann aber dort keiner was dafür. Sollte nur vom Management zum Schutz der Gäste beobachtet werden. Ansonsten ist es eine Reise wert und besonders! »

« The staff are wonderful, both kind and efficient. The reception were helpful and made one feel so welcome on arrival. Getting there at night can be tricky as google maps is wrong while there are few signposts showing the way. The setting is fantastic and what a tranquil and relaxing place!
