Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"When we checked in we were first given a room overlooking construction and large trash bins. We were told since we booked through a third party that we were not priority for the best rooms and they were mostly sold out. We ended up paying a few hundred more per night to have a better room. Once we got there it was fabulous - ocean front, very spacious, freshly remodeled. The only drawback was the rooms on each side of us were still being refurbished, so there was some traffic and noise during the day. We found the location to be ideal for Kapaa. The beach was too rough and rocky for safe swimming but it's close to other calmer waters. The hotel staff and restaurant (we only ate at the casual bar area and coffee/breakfast place) were great."

"Great local economy place to stay. It was clean and the vibes very much Aloha oriented. The GM Ron was a gem full of knowledge on Hawaiian history and culture, willing to take all the time to share his knowledge and answer any questions of the guests. There is an amazing collection of Hawaiian artifacts on display in the lobby at f the hotel. If you are not looking for luxury accommodations, Would definitely recommend this hotel! Much mahalos! K"

"If you are looking for a relaxing, authentic, and peaceful place to stay, this is it! The Kaua‘i Inn is incredibly quiet and tucked away, making it the perfect escape from the busier, crowded resorts. It truly feels like a hidden tropical oasis. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is so serene, and we slept incredibly well thanks to how peaceful it is at night. To top it all off, the breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to our days of exploring. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel right at home. We cannot recommend this place enough and will absolutely be back!"
