"Beautiful location- clean, friendly staff, beach access with hammocks and beach chairs were an added bonus. Love that there was a Starbucks on property. The luau on property was also so wonderful!"

"We’re used to Grand Velas and their top sites. But this Grand Hyatt is right there as a top resort. The pools are the best we’ve seen. No issues. Seeing the parrots each day was a plus. And the on site restaurants were very good too. Our only advice. If you get an Uber to the resort, keep your driver’s cell number and schedule your rides and pay them cash. Otherwise getting rides to and from the resort can be very difficult. We were almost stranded in Lihue one time."

"it was a ok place, good view of bay, pool area good place, beach (public) clean and fun. .pool area is loud though waterfalls and fountains running sounds like your inside a washing machine : ) and kids pool next to building so kids screaming / playing echos around well. staff was a hit and miss - some awesome, some dont bother me tourist. maint: mostly clean. some areas around property have floor issues broken tiles.... elevators floor dirty seems no one assigned to clean them. rooms: good view, and nice place for a week.... Food on site: its so so. prices are insane for what you get and quality is fast food at best. grounds are part of Marriott timeshare they have majority rooms/buildings. parking expensive and can be far. next to hotel building has small parking good weekdays / weekend locals use for beach too. so main parking lot next to mariot buildings otherside of property. water/bay..... bay gets a cruise ship once a week(ish). sits in view of mountains partially they are still awesome / pretty. beach is clean and several volleyball courts, water has good wave action and steep sand incline. so can boogie board. and play in sand with kids."

"Our first trip to Kaua’i was to The Tranquility Blue Bungalow, a beachfront property with stunning views. We had hoped to spot local wildlife, but in addition what we discovered was that the beauty of Kaua’i is indescribable.Nestled off the beaten path, the bungalow offered privacy. Every day, we were treated to the sight of monk seals swimming and galumphing across the rocks. Turtles bobbed in the bay, and the locals marked their nesting spots with driftwood and signs. On our final day, we were fortunate enough to witness the playful spinner dolphins.We embraced the tropical atmosphere by waking up early and savoring every meal outdoors, soaking in the breathtaking surroundings. The warm, soft sand and the crystal-clear, turquoise-blue water. The landscaping around the bungalow was a masterpiece of its own with flowering trees, cozy nooks with tables and chairs, a fire ring and hammocks under the gazebo.The bungalow itself was charming and provided a comfortable space for preparing meals and resting. However, we found ourselves spending most of our time outside. Hawaii is the tropics and we weren’t looking for a resort so expect bugs, geckos, toads, snails and chickens. More wildlife. Our hosts were incredibly personal, warm, and friendly, making our stay truly memorable.We would enjoy a return to Kaua’i and to this specific spot."
