My party had no issues with this but if someone is very shy they may take offense. There is a great diner on the corner run by the lovely Fatma, Fabulous coffee. We did hear a lot of noise from upstairs and the elevator door opening and closing. The service was good. The hotel is very close to all the French Quarter attractions about a three minute walk to Jackson Square. The room itself is an adequate size but very dark. Even when we opened all the curtains and put on the lights I sometimes had to turn on my telephone flashlight. Room has a coffee machine and a refrigerator , and the bathroom is well stocked with toiletries. Bed was very comfortable Since we were there in December. I would’ve liked an extra blanket to put on the bed since we do not like the heat turned up. We did not use the pool, but the little pool house had a microwave and the ice machine ONO, great location, good price, and friendly staff."
