"We absolutely love that place ! Specially being luck of getting a ground floor unit ( number 102)! We were steps from the beach, with our feet in the sand !!!!!
The beach is calm , beautiful and quiet ! Like a private beach !
I would definitely staying there again ! We were a group of 5 and slept comfortably! "
"It was a lovely well stocked unit - felt like home after a 2.5week stay. The shower is amazing. Cute kitchen with everything you need. Host was pleasurable, helpful, and diligent, ensuring my stay was error free. Television works well, has HDMI input so you can run video ouput from your laptop to it. The two beds are of different calibers. One firm and the other soft, who doesn't like choices? It is a very quiet unit with no-one on one side, nor below. During the Tsunami scare this month, the Makaha Towers were the place to be! The pool is also very lovely and clean. I would definitely stay here again. The Makaha beaches were perfect for the recluse I am. It may not be for everyone, but those that like to walk the path less traveled, this is the place for you. I will definitely return. BTW: Who knew Peacocks mew? That's what they sounded like to me. Cute! Didn't bother me at all. It's not a hotel, so don't go into it thinking it is. Think of it as an apartment and there are things you should be prepared to do for yourself. Observe and respond accordingly to parking strategies, and loading. It's a bit of a walk to the unit from the elevators (I usually took the stairs), but you get used to it. Also, the grounds of the towers are just amazing. The vegetation and the mountains are beautiful. I spent quite a bit of time stargazing from the 18th/19ths floors at night in the company of a cool breeze."
Charming Studio Apartment with Cold AC in fabulous Makaha
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely loved our visit to Makaha Valley. Far enough away from tourists and close enough to anything you need during your stay. All the staff here were amazing! The only thing we could say was a down side was that the laundry room wasn’t working. Other than that, everything was perfect. "
"I enjoyed this place a lot. Smooth check in and check out. The parking lot was the best part due to all the beautiful peacock birds roaming around. It was nice staying on the west side of the mountain. Renting a car is a definitely must to stay here as I was gone most of the time exploring the island. Carpet could get replaced to make the apartment nicer but I enjoyed my stay. Had all the amenities needed."
"This property has everything you’ll need for four people, the owner is nice and quick to respond if you have any issuesThis was our best family vacation"

"We've had a great time staying in this condo. We got double gorgeous views: the valley and the ocean. Check-in was easy, the condo was super clean when we got in and looked exactly as advertised; thank you Ken! There were so many wild peacocks roaming around the area and that was a plus, they can be loud but we sleep no problem, had our earplugs with us. The kitchen was well stocked. There are also local grocery store not too far away from the condo. Overall, we love and enjoyed our stay in MVT, thank you once again Ken for making our stay wonderful."
