We stayed at Margaritaville Key West, on our drive back to Canada we decided since it was such a great experience we would book Margaritaville Jacksonville Beach. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly valet staff member. He was great, very friendly and welcoming. Check in was very good. Everything after that was not enjoyable. The next morning as we were getting ready to go out for the day, housekeeping knocked on our door. We weren’t quite ready for them yet and let her know we would be gone in 10 minutes. They never returned, even after contacting the front desk several times. We were assured that our room would be looked after once we returned from our dinner which was around 9pm. When we got back our room was still not cleaned. Front desk had to give us extra towels as all the ones in our room had been used up. I expressed my displeasure and asked how the hotel was going to make things right. I was not given an answer. I asked to be contacted by management, I am still waiting. Hotel is new, staff is obviously new as well, not very hospitable, I feel they do the bare minimum, noticed garbage throughout the bar area in the morning, overflowing garbages, filthy windows throughout the building, chandelier in lobby is coated in dust. Hotel is valet service only, there was a lady working who said she would be with us in a minute then took the people who came by after us and got their vehicle first, this caused us to be a few minutes late for our dinner reservation.

Overall it was a good hotel room. We found it strange the shower didn't have a door just a piece of glass covering half the shower. The bed was too hard for me and up too high.
