"This weekend was all about making memories with my children and grandchildren, and Selah Vie Lodge was the perfect place for it. Set on 6 beautiful acres with a stocked trout pond and a running creek, it was a fisherman’s dream, and the kids loved reeling in fish right from the yard. The lodge was spacious and comfortable, easily fitting our large multi-generational group.The kitchen and dining areas, both indoors and out on the deck, made mealtimes together easy and enjoyable. Thoughtful touches like a high chair, a baby bath, and fishing poles made traveling with little ones a breeze, and property being pet friendly meant our four legged family member could join in too.Between hikes on the trails, pool games, the hot tub, and s’mores by the fire pit every night, there was something for everyone. Three generations under one roof, and we all left with big smiles, already planning our next trip back.That’s about half the length but still hits every highlight. Want me to trim further, or does this feel like the right balance?"

"The perfect mountain cabin!Maple Whiskey Cove seriously exceeded our expectations. The house is absolutely beautiful and HUGE, but somehow still feels so cozy. It’s literally what dream houses in the woods are made of.There were so many things we loved about this house. Two of the bathrooms have steam showers, ours had a HUGE soaking tub, and there’s a hot tub outside. The bed and pillows were SO soft and comfortable. Literally like sleeping on a cloud.I was also very excited about the arcade machine because it has my favorite arcade game ever, Ms. Pac-Man—and I got the high score! My son had never heard of Dig Dug and initially scoffed at the name. I played it with him, and after that I kept finding him downstairs playing it by himself. The location was great, too. It feels peaceful and tucked away in the mountains, but it’s still only about 20 minutes from Blue Ridge and close to so much. We went apple picking at Mercier Orchards and took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway to McCaysville and Copperhill at the Georgia/Tennessee state line.Honestly, for how big and beautiful this house is and everything that comes with it, it was an incredible value. It really is the perfect mountain cabin. We had such a great trip and would absolutely stay here again. 10/10!"

"Check-in was very easy and straightforward. Since cell phone service is limited in the area, I would recommend taking a screenshot of the check-in instructions and Wi-Fi password beforehand, just in case you aren't connected when you arrive.When we first checked in, we noticed that a few pieces of the furniture could have used a little more attention when it came to cleaning. However, we reached out to the host, and they responded incredibly quickly. They were very understanding, helpful, and even offered us a couple of options to make things right, which we really appreciated. Their excellent communication and willingness to help definitely made a difference.The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the views are incredible! The hot tub was the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and take in the scenery. It was peaceful, private, and made for a wonderful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.Overall, we had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed our time here. Despite the minor cleanliness issue, the host's responsiveness, the beautiful property, and the breathtaking views made this a wonderful experience. We would absolutely recommend this place, especially for anyone looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We would happily stay here again!"
