Hear the soothing sounds of the rapids as you sit on the deck and eat a meal, cozy up by the outdoor fireplace, or relax in the large hot tub. The short winding stairs will bring you right into the small river so you wade in or try your fishing luck in the famous Fightingtown creek. Inside you see the stone fireplace, a tree trunk in the middle of the cabin, a large kitchen with tons of real wood live edge counter space, a large fridge with front access filtered water/ice, a master bedroom with direct access to the deck, and a dual sink bathroom. Clean , secluded , only 20 min from blue ridge and only a few minutes down the road from a sweet mountainside market that has a deli/restaurant and grocery. We loved being on the river with a fire pit , hot tub and huge covered deck . Quaint and secluded but close enough to any amenities you possibly need. The covered back porch with the TV and gas fireplace were perfect on those chilly Blue Ridge nights. The hot tub was a perfect destination after the long days hiking to the many waterfalls in the area. The fire pit close to the creek made for a relaxing evening with all the sights and sounds of nature. Scott and Christine are phenomenal hosts and the cabin was in perfect condition with all the amenities you need for a weeklong stay. The cabin is even better than described on the site! As soon as we walked in the door, we felt right at home! Great views, relaxing deck overlooking the creek with a warm deck fireplace - This is where I spent most of my time as it was so peaceful! The woodwork and finishes inside the cabin were beautiful and with the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, we didn’t have to run to town for something we forgot. Scott and Christine thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing! They were great hosts and kept in contact with us if we needed anything or had any questions! They even added an extra touch by recognizing our anniversary and my husband’s birthday! Thank you!
