It is located near 'Algonquin Park' - Canada's largest nature reserve and the famous 'Haliburton Forest' - a large private nature reserve that is open to the public for hiking, camping, nature walks, fishing and the famous tree top walk in the summer. Snowshoeing, dog sledding, luge and groomed snowmobile trails in the winter. Just minutes away! There are also some local maintained walking trails right near the cottage as well.
