« Two days before our stay we were notified that we were being moved to a different rental which apparently was an upgrade. What was not clear in the photo was the lack of space above the mattress (double) on the floor(no “bed”) and the ceiling. Not high enough to sit up while on the bed and have to bum scoot to the end and climb down a very precarious ladder. We both nearly hurt ourselves on it (super slippery) and we are pretty fit. It was heated using space heaters and while on, cannot use...

« We had a wonderful stay at the Blue House! The property was beautiful, immaculate, and exactly as described. It was very easy to access, included convenient parking, and was located in a great area. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the coffee that was provided, we were even able to make coffee each morning. Overall, we loved the experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend! »

« The cabin is indeed micro and quite suitable for a solo traveller. With such limited space, it would be very difficult to include a comfortable chair, as much as that would be appreciated. I wouldn’t recommend the ladder leading to the loft for anyone hesitant using one. All in all, I was pleased with the effort put into making this cabin as comfortable and welcoming as it was. »

« The property is in an excellent location, 100% love the location. Parking was free and included, so that was also very good. The room and bathroom was upgraded to today's standards so that was also 100% good. However, the property is pretty bare bones, no amenities, no frills, almost no art on walls in the room, no special touches, no bottled water, no hand lotion for dry hands, Very bare bones for a $300+ room. No views, no water views, no amenities, but excellent location and good parking....

« Best location for a west Coast experience … right in the water, seals, lots of birds, super little trail around the wetlands for morning coffee walks … pub next door … and the sweetest, kindest staff!! We found a goose in trouble in the mud and the staff knew who to call for wildlife rescue and kept calling until help came! Great outdoor patio, too! »

« Really beautiful view. The property is accessed by a very steep driveway, with parking above on the main road. It would not work for persons with mobility issues. We however have none, and managed just fine. Owners were lovely and live on site upstairs. »
