Six Mile Lake Muskoka Cottage with Beautiful Views


Welcome to our beautiful 4 season cottage in scenic Muskoka, Ontario! Located just 90 minutes from the 401 on a well-maintained year round access road, the cottage has everything you could want for a relaxing escape.

Bright, airy and spacious with all day sunlight, the cottage is ideally set up for multiple families, couples or friends looking for a quiet getaway. The main floor is open concept with high vaulted ceilings, wood stove and lake view through large windows and patio doors that open to a magnificent brand-new deck. An outdoor fire pit is available during Spring, Summer and Fall for roasting marshmallows and new dock with red Muskoka chairs provides breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. Deep water off the dock is ideal if you want to “go jump in the lake”.

Sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 fully equipped bedrooms (3 with high quality king-size beds, 1 with double-size bunk beds and Endy mattresses, all with cozy duvets and linens), 2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, kitchen (+ bbq), laundry, WIFI.

Available to use of our guests is our well equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and coffee maker with coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. Enough plates, bowls, cups, serving dishes, utensils, pots & pans for your cooking and baking use. BBQ and propane included. Generator in case of power outages.

We have an awesome jumping dock with deep calm water. If a sandy beach is more what you are looking for, we are close to Six Mile Lake provincial park that has a lovely sandy beach.

Beautiful quiet bay
We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay. Privacy, quiet neighbours, sheltered bay and huge deck with shade umbrellas were great. Plenty of supplies and water toys.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful oasis. Many thanks for our wonderful week at the cottage. Lots of space for everyone, bedrooms are a good size, as well as lots of living space to spread out in. All of the comforts of home, on top of the water activities....so beautiful and relaxing!

Private, Peaceful Escape!
From the moment we arrived at this charming vacation home, we knew we had made a good decision. The long drive down the private lane way, to the cottage was lined with snow covered trees,and the stars were out to welcome us. The cottage was just as it had been presented on line, and sparkling clean. I’ve stayed in many places around the world, and have never seen a property so well equipped, everything we needed was there in triplicate. I loved the layout of the cottage, which sits on a hilltop, with great views of the Lake. It was quiet and private! Just what we needed for a few days to unwind and escape from our busy lives. I would highly recommend this facility. The owners were a delight to deal with, and responded quickly to any and all of our messages. They showed true concern for our enjoyment of their home. The check in was a breeze with the keyless entry, and we really enjoyed our evenings with a nice big wood burning fireplace. The Lake was frozen, and we enjoyed time outdoors, hiking on the trails in the area. I can’t say enough about the privacy and peaceful location. Next time we visit, will likely be in the Fall, when we can enjoy the ever changing colours. Wonderful owners who understand the spirit of hospitality. Thank you so much!

Wonderful winter getaway for New Year’s in a picturesque place
We had such a wonderful time staying at Jennifer’s place for a New Year’s Eve winter getaway. Words really don’t describe how wonderful her place is, but I will try my best to share our experience. When we got there, we were quite surprised by how big and spacious the place was. The pictures made it look large, but it’s even bigger than we thought. We had four adults, 2 kids under three, and an infant and we had plenty of room for everyone. The rooms all (minus the bunk bed room) have king beds, and they were super comfortable, so that was an added bonus. The cottage itself had all the amenities you could ask for. We brought a bunch of cooking things, not really knowing if we would need them, but we didn’t in the end. The place is equipped with everything. Like EVERYTHING you could possibly need for cooking, cleaning, toiletries etc, it’s all there. The property itself was big and the deck was huge. We played in the snow each day with the kids and they had a blast. We even had a couple outdoor fires in the fire pit while checking out the gorgeous views of the lake and the cottages around. Our favourite part was using the wood fireplace in the cottage at night when the kids were in bed. That was just the best. So relaxing. Overall we couldn’t have been happier with Jennifer’s communication and kindness through the lead up, and during our stay. She was so fast and timely answering any questions we had. The bottle of sparkling wine, along with card she left on the table for NYE was just a really thoughtful added touch, but was so much appreciated. The short drive too from Toronto was amazing as well. We were there and home in no time. We will definitely look to rent again in the future. I imagine it would also be an amazing place to stay in the summer. Just judging by the property size, the docks, the decks and the beautiful bunkie that’s right near the cottage. So don’t hesitate to book with Jennifer! This place is truly beautiful, it has everything, and she’s a wonderful host. You honestly can’t go wrong. Thanks again for a wonderful winter getaway!
