"We were taking a New England road trip and this hotel was on our stop for Maine. It's on a community college campus and run by the students but they were excellent. Prior to our arrival we received a call from the front desk asking us about our arrival. The guy, Jacob, was friendly and on arrival greeted us warmly. The hotel is near the water and comfy. Perfect for our one night. In the morning we met Emily whom also greeted us warmly and proved us continental breakfast. Overall, a nice stay and the view of the water during breakfastwas beautiful."

"We have really enjoyed our stay at Portland Harbor Hotel. Our room was clean, the location is super convenient, and the staff was super helpful with recommendations, especially Adam. Everywhere he recommended to check out was amazing! He was also very cheerful and welcoming daily. If we’re ever back in town visiting, we will definitely stay with your hotel again."

"I chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as pet-friendly, as I was traveling with my well-trained dog. While the location was convenient and the room itself was comfortable, the experience was soured by the lack of transparency regarding the pet policy. When I booked, the additional pet fee was not clearly disclosed. I was extremely annoyed to be informed that there was a flat pet cleaning fee for bringing a well-behaved animal into the room. If a hotel charges a premium for pets, there should be clear communication about that cost upfront, or they should at least provide amenities to justify the extra cleaning fee they claim to be charging."
