"The Snowshoe Lodge was an excellent place to stay for my weekend getaway with my mother and sister. The location was perfect, close to the wonderful shops in Lake Placid and with amazing views of the beautiful Adirondack mountains! Parking was convenient and it felt like we were in our on little cabin!!"

Nestled in the Adirondacks, this charming town offers hiking trails with spectacular views of the High Peaks and Pleasant Valley. Visit the Adirondack History Museum to explore local heritage, then enjoy paddling on the Boquet River when weather permits.
Loved everything about this place. Unique, newly renovated, refreshingly original (it may not have coffee station in the room, but therefor it has an old remodeled food truck outside with everything one would need! Including a cozy vibe and seating).
Rooms are very clean and have all one would need, including new TVs - able to stream prime, free Netflix ecc.. Staff is very friendly and quick to respond. Would stay here again anytime!

The host/owner Al was absolutely fantastic! In 30 years of travelling I have never met a better host. 100% dedicated to make your stay fantastic. After 1 minute you will feel like you have known him for 25 years. He personally showed me my room, introduced me to his family & made sure I was instantly at home. He is also a Marine veteran - his motel is spotless, comfortable beds, etc & he works non-stop to make sure you have everything you need - restaurant recommendations, tourist attractions,...

We had a pleasant stay here while visiting the area. Room was comfortable and clean. Pet-friendly and carpet-free. All the necessary amenities were provided. Ticonderoga is a quaint town with small shops and a few restaurant options. There is a McDonalds and a Walmart right by the hotel too. Overall a recommended motel.

Great affordable stay, good location. Nice pool and great hot tub. Skip the breakfast and go into town. The associate who checked us in was doing several jobs at once and was friendly, professional, and efficient.
