"This hotel has guests that stay for a long time so there are stovetops, a fridge and microwave in the rooms. Unfortunately, people were cooking foods that did not smell good and it drifted into the hallway and room. There should be complimentary air fresheners for guests. It’s also next to a freeway so noise is an issue. The staff was sweet and the price was decent for a room. Didn’t visit the pool or spa "

"The resident owners were extremely helpful and pleasant to us. The property, while very old, was clean, with updated interiors. We would definitely recommend the Marin Lodge to others as an alternative to large corporate hotel motel/hotel chains. Our stay was surprisingly good in every way."

"Though the hotel is right next to the freeway, the rooms are quiet. The beds are very firm. The exterior might not be sparkling, but the rooms are clean, and the towels are softer than found in other, similar hotels. I was disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub accessible by all guests: I felt this wasn’t made clear by the listing."
