"The only complaint I have is that the HVAC/fan system in the room is a bit outdated. There is not a setting to allow the fan to operate continuously providing air flow; it shuts off when the thermostat temperature is reached. The property is very conveniently located and the restaurant and hotel staff were wonderful!"

"Other guest have mentioned the lack of outdoor furniture on the back deck. It is the one thing the host could do to improve the quality of the stay. There is a nice deck out back and a beautiful backyard with zero chairs or tables. A couple of 100 in cheap patio furniture at Home Depot would solve the problem and improve the experience. Other than that, the property was clean and updated, kitchen was well stocked with anything needed to prepare meals, beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and washcloths. The thermostat seemed to be programmed and we never could figure out how to temporarily set it to a desired setting."

"The house was beautiful and clean, the kitchen and main living area is spacious and perfect for entertaining a small group of people. It’s perfect for those looking to take advantage of Pebble Beach and the surrounding golf courses. The property is situated along the famous 17 Mile Drive, and the host made the private gate access easy for us. During our stay, the temperatures in the house were very hot during the afternoon & evening hours. The skylights and lack of central AC contributed to this – and while the fans and opening the windows helped, it was still uncomfortable at times. The house also had an ant problem, which we discovered in the bathroom after we found them in our toiletries. We also discovered ants in the kitchen, and proceeded to bag all of our purchased food to be safe. Smaller thing: we’ve stayed in several luxury short-term rentals over the past few years, and this was the first that didn’t include a bottle of wine or a small welcome gift of some kind. When paying over 1500/night, this is the sort of small gesture that goes a long way and came as a slight surprise when we arrived."

"Very Interesting Mid Century Modern Home. Kitchen and baths were good; beds were comfortable and clean. One suggestion would be to have the living room furniture deep cleaned. The furniture, though comfortable and in good condition has a slight oder from long use. The pillows on the sofas and chairs would also benefit from a deep cleaning. I would also recommend lubricating the sliding door from the kitchen to the patio. It required two people to open. We were fearful that the glass pane might come undone when trying to pull the door shut. Very difficult to close safely. The swinging door from the foyer to the deck makes a loud creaking sound when opening and closing. It works properly but the hinges should also be lubricated. I would also recommend having the rugs in the bedrooms steam cleaned. The right-hand sink in the master bedroom has a dripping faucet. This was not an inconvenience I only mention it because water is being wasted. Thank you, we look forward to renting there again one day."

"A quiet and good location, comfortable beds, and a big back yard. Very little attention to landscaping and bark over blue plastic covers all over the back yard. Looks somewhat neglected outside but was a comfortable stay. Easy in and out at the 17 mile drive entrance points."

"Such a beautiful property! We felt so welcome and were so surprised at all the treats that were awaiting us and all the included amenities. We made sure to leave time in our days to enjoy this beautiful property. Property was clean, Ramona at the check in office was an absolute pleasure and despite it being mostly overcast, you can’t beat the views. I will definitely stay here again."
