Metro Inn Calgary Northwest

Metro Inn Calgary Northwest

8/10 Good
"★★★★☆ Great Value, Clean and Friendly My wife and I are new to the Calgary area and needed an affordable place to stay while we shop for our new home. The Metro Inn has turned out to be a really good choice for us. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, clean motel without expecting luxury-hotel prices, this place offers very good value. It appears the new owners are in the middle of renovating and improving the property, which was formerly a Ramada, and you can see that work is being done to give the motel a fresh start. It also appears that the weekly and monthly rates have been eliminated during the spring and summer months, which seems to have shifted the property more toward families, tourists and other visiting guests during the busy season. The pool is clean and well maintained, as is the hot tub, and having on-site laundry is especially convenient if you’re staying for more than a night or two. The staff have also been very friendly and helpful during our stay. For us, Metro Inn has been exactly what we needed: a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to call home temporarily while we get settled in Calgary and look for a house. It’s not a five-star resort, nor is it trying to be. For the price and what it offers, it’s a solid choice and we’ve been happy with our stay. Four stars from us!"

Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but hotel interiors are fitted with modern conveniences and safety features.
