I arrived in Sutton to attend a funeral and knew the hotel from previous trips years ago. The renovations by the new owners were outstanding. The place was totally modernized and the decor simply stunning. The current art gallery show in the dining room and sitting room was an added bonus. Reception and Restaurant staff were excellent. The servers were very knowledgeable and made sure they satisfied our need for gluten free breakfasts and supper. Food was well presented and delicious. Accomodations were very clean and comfortable. Kitchen, e.g. electric stove, could use some updating, but everything worked perfectly well. We enjoyed the large veranda and quiet setting. We used Villa de Brome as a staging area for skiing at nearby Bromont. The price was spectacular; going early in the week assured us a quiet space with only one or two other guests (we were advised weekends can get busier). The room exactly as advertised; the beds comfy and the space was clean. The shower / toilet in the middle of the room (don't worry - its enclosed with a door) is a bit quirky, but doesn't throw you off. Absolutely loved everything about this hotel, from the pool to the lobby to the rooms and the view of the mountain it was just magical

The auberge was conveniently located for the local road trips we made around the Eastern Townships. Our gracious hostess had plenty of suggestions for good places to eat. The homemade breakfasts were delicious.
