"We initially came to riad lazord and booked through Expedia a room, when we got there we had to wait like 30 min for someone to open the door. Then we got our room which was not the one we asked for, it was extremely small. When I saw the bathroom of the room I almost fell, it was totally full of humidity, the shower right next to the toilet all in one small small space, the walls where falling. That definitely not a place for someone to stay. After complaining the girl was kind enough and she...

"The property condition was terrible, the blanket was smelly, and the carpet or rug was in poor condition, the bathroom was in poor condition, especially the floor, and the faucets were in poor condition. The only good thing about the property was the good staff, especially a gentleman by the name of Sufyann, who was very hospitable, caring, respectful, and very helpful."

A truly authentic experience. Luxury in the heart of Marrakech, if you are going to Marrakech to experience its diversity and uniqueness and have the budget for such a hotel I would highly recommend to book the Riad Kniza (if its not all booked up that is as it sells out very fast).
The owner Mohammed helped us greatly with an early check-in without issues as we had problems with another hotel. They were accommodating and welcoming. As if you were in someones home as a guest.

The street down to the Riad seemed a little dirty but once you got into the Riad, it was a beautiful place in the Medina. Was greeted by abdel who did a Wonderful job settling us in. The breakfast was amazing with fresh breads, dips and freshly squeezed juices daily.
All the staff including the cleaning teams and chefs work very hard and are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Best riad I have ever stayed in my whole morocco trip. Room is clean and well organized. Our flight was early morning next day and staff booked a taxi for me which arrived on time very happy for that. Staff made extra effort in the morning since we’re going to miss our breakfast they prepared us small bags for each person which contains drinks, yoghurt and local snacks. I am very satisfied with my stay at this property.

This riad was an absolutely beautiful place to stay, the traditional decor was stunning. There was always a staff member there to let us in and out of the riad, and help us with anything else we might need.
