I booked 5 nights however night 2-4 I would be away on a desert tour, which I explained to the guy and he said okay. The rooms are very basic as you'd probably imagine for a budget hostel, however there is no excuses for some of the taps having no running water or soap, some of the beds not having plug...

"This hostel is a solid choice. Good value for money. The owners are very nice and helpful, excellent to book local tour, cooking classes or massage with. The only downside is they say breakfast is served at 7.45, so you can have it before a 8am tour, but breakfast rarely begins before 8.30. It's is also located right next to the main square, which is a great location, but in return you have to put up with the early call to prayer. Nonetheless, anywhere this close to the main square would have...
