The hotel was great. Our only regret was it was so expensive to rent a refrigerator.

"Modern hotel in the heart of Brickell Ave"
Great location on Brickell Ave, the clean, modern look of Conrad was very refreshing. A bit odd arrangement with the front desk on 25th floor and rooms below that (you have to take two elevators), but still a very nice hotel.

"close to the beech. "
Our room was next to the restaurant & bar, and the noise was so annoying, on one occasion I had to open my room door at 3:30 to tell somebody to shut up as they were speaking so loud. Still nice hotel and the roof pool area was excellent.

"A nice experience staying downtown Miami"
My family and I just stayed over for one night but it was a nice experience from the greeting by the door to the front desk staff all excellent I must say from my observation according to the room you are in there can be some breath taking overall I was please. I do think however a big hotel like that should be able to have transfers from the airport and the cruise ship port because it is listed as one of the hotels recommend for a stay over before a cruise and its only a short distance away. you see the simple things for a citizen of the USA can be a major problem for an international person how may not know there way around.

"Nice resort hotel"
Location is excellent - lots of restaurants, convenience stores (liquor and Walgreens!), and Lincoln Road nearby. We had 2 rooms - both were spacious and the one with the balcony was a bonus. Pool area and beach were also really nice. Had a fantastic massage at the spa. Overall, the hotel is well-maintained and clean. My only criticism is the staff: front desk was not too friendly during check-in. We were expecting rain all weekend, yet the Hemisphere bar/restaurant was completely understaffed during the day.

We came in to go to the Dolphins / Cowboys game. Hotel was in great driving distance to the stadium, airport and beach. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport.

"Cute hotel in a good location"
We spent a weekend at The Thompson as a "baby moon" for baby #2. We had a very nice time. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was small, but clean and comfortable, the beach was easily accessible, and the pool area and restaurant were great. The food is terribly expensive but it is delicious, so you get what you pay for. My only gripe was the $20 charge to open the umbrella on the beach. You already pay a resort fee to have the chairs and it seems really nit-picky to charge extra to open the umbrella. We overall had a really nice time. As a bonus there is a station to pick up the Citi Bikes right across from the hotel entrance.

The age of the average vacation will come to an end when you reach the Magic City.

You must explore a bit of local history and visit the Olympia Theater, located at Gusman Center. When it opened in 1926, Olympia Theater dazzled the locals with its Moorish architecture and immense silent movie screen. It continues to amaze today, featuring modern movies and live performances for the discerning traveller. Once you’ve enjoyed a show there, it’s time for a different kind of live entertainment—the aquatic kind. Miami Seaquarium features performances by dolphins and various other sea creatures, as well as exhibits with an eye focused on marine conservation. If you’re travelling with the kiddos, they’ll love meeting and greeting some of the local sea life, but the Seaquarium is an entertaining and educational experience for adults, as well.

Retreat to a 4-star Miami hotel to fully enjoy your experience. Take a relaxing dip in the pool after several hours of exploring the city, or book a massage at the on-site spa. You may also have access to a health club and lounge, where you can chat up fellow travellers. After a good night’s sleep, why not visit Martin Z. Margulies Sculpture Park? You can wander through acres of sculptures by such artists as Nevelson and Dubuffet for hours.
