"Good value, but not quite 4 star"
No problem if you just want to sleep there: clean and quite. However the swimming pool is quite small and to get to it from the building my room was in, one needs to go out to the parking lot, re-enter the main lobby, walk through (in a swim suite) and go out of another door into the inner yard.

"Mini Girls Vaca"
Love the location on the beach, the "resort fee" is a little crazy since the hotel is under a lot of construction and the hotel is def not resort status . The staff was very nice and accomodating. The gym was clean and nice, the halls and elevators are kind of dirty but our room was very clean. I would come back to see the hotel when its finished.

"Excellent, spacious decor right on the beach."
I enjoyed this W hotel very much. I had a Spectacular King room overlooking the ocean on one side, and a canal where taxi boats were running on the other side. There was a comfortable lounge chair on the balcony. Everything in my room was on the big and modern side. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and everything worked well the first time. The air conditioning at the W is instantly responsive, which is a good thing. The decor in and out of the room is the outstanding thing about W Fort Lauderdale. I generally stay at the Atlantic hotel when I'm in the area, and the Atlantic is a great hotel, but I think the W is more interesting, and the public areas are much more spacious. I especially loved the W's outdoor part of the lobby overlooking the ocean, and the outdoor part of the restaurant overlooking the ocean. The outdoor pool is the largest of any of the hotels in this area. I think the chef at W Fort Lauderdale is especially to be commended. The quality of food, and its presentation, is distinctive, and quite good. I especially loved the artichokes on the room service menu, which unfortunately was discontinued during my last night. I was so disappointed. But I'm sure there are restaurants in the area that serve them. I really love Fort Lauderdale, and will certainly return. And W Fort Lauderdale will definitely be on my list of hotels to stay at.

We were allowed to check in much earlier than advertised check-in time, and allow to stay past check-out time. Friendly staff were very accommodating of flight scheduling. Room decorations were very nice.

"Easy Location & Good Price"
The Hotel was clean. Parking was easy. The rooms were a bit out of date - they were redoing the entire floor below us. They were accommodating to allow us a later check out with our baby so he could nap. Overall it was a good experience.

It’s time to kick back and enjoy life a little bit in the Venice of America.

Fort Lauderdale earned that nickname due to its many waterways and canals. You can take a cruise of some of these canals, admiring the million-dollar homes and lush foliage that surround you. If you’d rather stay on dry land, why not venture to the Galleria? This outdoor mall isn’t just for shopping; as you’re acquiring new items at high-end and chain stores, you’ll also find a multitude of places to eat, drink, and be merry.

You can bring that merriment to a home base in a 4-star hotel. Fort Lauderdale has plenty of these, located along the beachfront and further inland. Book a hotel with an in-house spa so you can grab a massage after a long day of beachcombing. In the morning, order room service so you can enjoy breakfast in bed before heading out to Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. Built in 1920, the Bonnet House is surrounded by exquisite tropical gardens full of orchids and wildlife—among them numerous birds and monkeys. We don’t recommend trying to touch any of them, but you can surely watch their antics with a smile on your face.

You don’t want to monkey around when it comes to the perfect vacation. offers the cheapest deals on Fort Lauderdale hotels, no matter what part of the city you want to stay in. You’ll save money better spent on another afternoon at one of the local day spas. After all, you’re on vacation.
