"Very Nice Hotel with Very Pleasant Views"
This is an excellent hotel. It is located on the monorail to/from Haneda Airport at the second to last stop before reaching the Tokyo City end of the Hadena Monorail. Takes about 20 minutes to reach Haneda Airport and is thus quite convenient. The hotel rooms are nice and very clean; the staff very helpful and pleasant (as is typical in Japan) and the views can be very nice (if you get a view of the Rainbow Bridge or Harbor). The dining room where breakfast is served is very nice; the breakfast itself is a bit disappointing for the price but overall is average. Would not say the breakfast is bad, however, and when considering the convenience I may purchase it in the future. Overall, highly recommend the Daiichi Seafort Hotel.

"Close to transit"
Very nice hotel. English speaking staff. Basically right on top of the Rinkai Line - Shinagawa Seaside Station. Easy to get to from Haneda. Take the Tokyo Monorail to Tennozu Isle. Transfer to the Rinkai Line. You walk outside for about a block and a half. Very well signed in English. I arrived late at night in Haneda. Made the trip about 11pm on a weekday.

Tokyo Inn

"Reasonable hotel, a bit out of the way"
This hotel is a neat little hotel with pleasant staff and clean reasonable accommodations as far as Tokyo standards go. The facilities are basic with smaller sized rooms that is typical of Tokyo. The main drawback is that it is a bit further out. Best to get there through the subway to the megome station and up the lift which is next door to the hotel entrance. You may have to change from JR to subway and sometimes need to change on the subway line. I didn't get time to explore the local area as we were only there for a short period.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Shinagawa 3 stars Hotels

Historically the district where feudal lords lived during the Tokugawa Shogunate, this area is now home to many global businesses, including Sony headquarters. It also holds Sengaku-ji Temple, the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, and the city’s second-largest train station. West of the station is Takanawa, an upscale residential neighborhood.
