The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable, and modern. There's a nice restaurant, coffee place, and 7-11 in the hotel so you can find anything that you would ever need or want. It's also walking distance to a number of temples and palaces as well as many buses and an airport shuttle.
It's my second time staying at Rian Hotel. No doubt, this experience was excellent as well. All of the staff were friendly and greeted us as we enter or leave the hotel. There is a new convenience shop open just opposite the Hotel and I love how convenient it is to just drop by and get things you need before heading back. They provide 2 tables for you to sit while eating maybe cup noodles or just drinking outside like how it is like in Korean dramas. You can get to experience eating outside the convenience stall too haha. In addition, I happened to discover a stretch of food stalls (just turn left once you exit the Hotel and keep walking). The food variety ranges from just fried chicken to lots of barbecue shop, seafood are available there as well. It's opened till late night so there may be some drunkards around, so just be a little more careful. Oh there's also a small coffee shop nearby that serves great drinks, it's quite small to cater to many guest so maybe you can take away the drinks and have it in the Hotel. And if you walk along the alley, there's a shop that sells grilled fish. I recommend that, do go have a try! Not quite sure about the name of the shop though, but you can see them grilling the fishes along the alley.
"Close to places of interest and shopping streets"
It wasn't easy to locate on the first day because it is situated in an alley but after a few days, we got more familiar and realised we could even walk to Insadong main street within 10 mins of walking.
While the room is really small, it is quite maintained and clean. To provide washer without dryer or clothesline makes the washer a bit of white elephant. Breakfast though the same is better than nothing. I guess it is provided as there is no cafe in the next street or so. So appreciate it.
Staff is helpful. We arrived way earlier than check - in time and so requested to leave our luggage at the hotel. To our surprise, we were allowed to check in as the room is ready. Appreciate the flexibility.
Really nice hotel and room is big. Near MTR station and Super easy take MTR line #1, 2, 4, 5.. This is a 4 Star Hotel. Very nice accommodations, big lobby, quiet, clean, luxurious. Well located and convenient..... Shops near around have opening hours till mid-night.
Excellent family orientated hotel, clean rooms, cheap adequate breakfast, close to subway.free washing machines in basement.
Only downside is there is no lobby or lounge to relax with a newspaper and maybe a drink, there is a small coffee shop were the breakfast is served, mainly full of office workers during the day and closes early evening.if I was going to visit Seoul again during the summer,I'd probably spend a bit more and stay in a hotel with more facilities is pool, gym, bar.but don't let me put you off.
"Excellent Value in the Delightful City of Seoul "
I arrived at Hotel Amass in the dark in pouring rain.My initial reaction was not positive but do not judge a book by its cover.I came to appreciate what an excellent place to stay this hotel is both for its wonderful location only minutes walk from Changdeokgung Palace and the delightful Bukchon Hanok Village Quarter and also for its friendly and helpful staff.
Although the room was not of immediate appeal I came to appreciate both its comfort and cleanliness during my stay. The bed was really comfortable unlike some of the hard surfaces I have had to endure in China in the past.
I will certainly return to the Amass on my next visit to this beautiful and often overlooked city.
Nafore Hotel is clean and comfortable. It was a bit hard to find on our first day as it is located in an alley. However, the location of the hotel is excellent as it is within walking distance to Myeondong. The subway is also near and convenient to most destinations. A good for value hotel!
We stayed here twice during our time in Korea. The first time was for four nights. The second time was for two nights. This is a small local hotel. The rooms are the smaller size of the orient. The shower is the entire bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They stored one of our bags while we did a trip to another city. The rooms are clean and it was cleaned promptly each day. They provided everything we needed, shampoo, body wash, soap, hair dryer. The closet is small but it held our clothes okay. There was tea and coffee in the room along with a refrigerator. One side of our double bed was against the wall. The room had sufficient plugs to recharge our phones and computer. Breakfast consisted of egg, cereals, orange juice, bread or toast, and muffins.
