"Very nice hotel, friendly atmosphere good for kids"
Very nice hotel, quiet in pleasant location, easy to find on the satnav. Staff very friendly and nice to kids. We actually booked rooms for adults only and didn't mentioned kids and we were not charged an extra despite kids being 3 & 5 yrs old. You're only 3 minutes walk from a bus station at the back of the hotel - line 5, 6, 12 & 12/ will take you straight to Venice in 15 minutes time. Although decor looks a little bit dated (colours etc.) it's very clean inside. Bathrooms big and clean. Parking is free, you'll be charged extra for wifi if you would like to use it in your room but it's free in the reception area where they've nice comfortable sofas. Enough to check your emails and update your social media profiles. Highly reccommend for families with kids. :)

"Great pre and post cruise hotel."
The hotel is located in Maestre, on the mainland directly across the street from the train station. It is one stop from Venice. The train ride takes approx. eight minutes to Venice. Plus taxis are abundant at the train station as well as shuttle buses. This also means the cruise port is the same one stop by train to Venice. If your are physically challenged and can't wheel luggage around, definitely take a taxi to the cruise port, about 40 euros. Going by train involves the train to Venice (one stop) and walking to the automated shuttle to the port. Then you make a long walk from the shuttle station to the pier of your ship. A lot of people do it this way, but a physically challenged person will certainly appreciate a taxi drop-off at their pier. It is a great location to get to Venice and the airport. We took the shuttle bus to the airport for approx. six euros per person. The ride with two stops was 20 minutes. The hotel is euro modern, very clean and sleek. The desk staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean and modern. The central air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was included with our stay. They also have a nice reasonably priced coffee and pastry café.

"Great escape from the madness that is Venice"
So pleased to be upgraded to a bigger room upon our arrival. We loved the location (one train stop away from Venice) as we didn't really like Venice's hectic atmosphere.

"Superb!"
Excellent, no problems at all. Everyone complaining about the stink have baseless accusations and even if there was a problem, it certainly didn't exist in the winter months from Oct-Dec.

"Lovely hotel"
The hotel is in a quiet area of Mestre. There is a great gelato cafe & a fabulous bar nearby. The bus to Venice is right outside the hotel & runs every few minutes. This hotel is great if you want to be in a quiet spot but close enough to Venice & all it offers.
