"Beautiful spacious apartment right by Piazza San Marco. Great place to explore the city. The apartment was very clean, beds were super comfortable and linens were hotel standard. Note that elevator opens up to apartment but you need a key so its very safe. The loft is very low but our kids loved it (despite bumping their heads a few times). "Room was large and it was really clean. Also have great soundproof walls as we barely hear other guests. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "

Camping Fusina provided us with easy on the wallet accommodations that were a seven minute walk to a water taxi that got us to Venice in 20 minutes each day. We rented a private camper "trailer", and were just a little surprised that it shared a wall with other campers. (Think townhouse trailer.)
