“Great hotel!”
This wasn't my first trip to Venice, Italy but my first stay at Hilton Hotel as they had a great deal that saved me a lot of money. The Hotel is awsome, high standards, great customer service. The breakfast buffet was included and it was delicious. I liked the way they served the coffee. I didn't eat at the restaurant's hotel but I bet it was great as it was always full. The hotel is very new, very modern, the room was outstanding with flat screen TV. I liked that there was a fridge in the room but it was empty not like other hotels where they have lots of drink and you don't have room for food and drinks you buy from outside. The hotel has a store in the lobby where you can buy what you need from drinks to tooth paste. The customer service is awsome and they will explain to you everything you need to know about moving around Venice. They will also give you a map of Venice and you can buy bus tickets from the lobby. You will appreciate this at it costs 2,5 euro to get one in the city. I would definetly recommand getting a travel pass for 24, 36, 48 or 72 hours as you can get on bus and water bus how many times you want.
“Comfortable”
The Hotel opened the end of 2010 so it still has a new feel. It was very comfortable with a modern European feel. Free wi-fi worked in room as well as in the restaurant and lounge. Easy access to the airport, the freeway, and to the Venice historic Island.
“Great place to stay near Venice!”
This was a great place to stay if you wanted to see Venice, but not hassle with your luggage on the water taxis! Valentina was an exceptional receptionist - she gave us a map with the bus routes and times right on the back and the bus stop was just in front of the hotel. We were even able to buy our bus / water taxi tickets right there at the hotel desk! It never took more than a half hour to get into Venice. Having gone through the nightmares on the last trip, this hotel was terrific, and the happy hour / concert was a pleasant treat! Above all, I wish every hotel had a receptionist as helpful, and welcoming as Valentina - she went the extra step of welcoming her guests to Venice!
“Very nice hotel”
The room was very spacious as was the bathroom.The pool was a bonus enabling us to cool off after a hot day sightseeing in Venice.Staff were friendly and helpful.The bus to Venice left from the front of the hotel and it took 6 minutes to get to Venice.Breakfast was adequate and the hotel restraurant was convenient although the menu was limited.The hotel is quite new and was spotless.We enjoyed the hotel pantry where we could stock up on drinks and snacks to keep in our room.Having travelled for over 8 weeks the guest laundry was much appreciated.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel as an alternative to staying in the heart of Venice.We were very comfortable there.
“Perfect if you don't want to stay in venice”
My husband and I were very pleased with everything about this hotel. It was just what we were looking for. The hotel staff were so helpful in answering our many questions. We were there for several days and heard them answering the same questions again and again with such patience. They will provide you with a bus schedule and map of Venice. 10 mins by bus to Venice and then take a water bus to whichever stop you choose in Venice. The hotel can sell you a ticket that will allow you unlimited bus & waterbus rides (price depends on how many hours/days you want unlimited rides). The waterbus is an economic way to see Venice. We skipped the overpriced gondolas and water taxis and used the waterbuses alot. If you don't want to pay the high prices to stay in Venice, this hotel is your solution. Breakfast is free and pretty good, esp if you like European-type breakfast with pastries, meats, and cheeses, but there are other options as well. I gave the hotel a lower score on surrounding neighborhood simly b/c there's not much within walking distance. No stores, only 2 hotels and the bus stop within walking distance. 1 hotel has a restaurant but just like Hilton's restaurant, doesn't open till 7pm. That's typical of the restaurants there.
“a bargain”
Hilton Garden Inn Mastre is 10 min bus(#5,#19) ride to the piazza Roma at Venice where you can then switch to water taxi to the grand canal or surrounding islands. Very convenient. the price we paid for a 4 star hotel with all american standart features is a bargain compare to Venice's 4 star old hotels. Comfortable bed. purchase a metro card for 24h,36h,or 48h for unlimited rides to all the buses, water taxi(6.5 for a single ride). Breakfast Ok. Parking is Free
“Nice Hotel, Nice location”
The bus stop is just outside the hotel so connectivity with the city is good... It took us just 5 mins to reach the hotel from the venice mestre train station. On our arrival, the receptionist gave us a warm welcome, and gave the city map and the bus timings chart. Room Service was prompt, rooms were clean and Got free wifi :).. I would recommend this hotel to people who'd like to stay away from the crowded noisy streets of venice... (In the main island, connectivity is through Water taxis which are really expensive)
“The Hotel to stay while in Venice”
Very impressed with the room. It was big, very clean. We had two queen beds and they were very comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was also good. The hotel is only 12 minutes by bus from Venice island. I was also impressed by the response I got from the hotel after I emailed them for information on how to get to the hotel from Piazzalle Roma.
“Best hotel option near Venice Marco Polo Airport”
Secured this reservation through Expedia a month before travel, and was very impressed with the design, comfort, location and hotel staff & service. They also have an airport shuttle, and the hotel is located just off the main road out of Venice (SR17- Della Libertia) at the interesection of SS14- Orlanda (Airport road). Also very accessible to train and bus lines. Would definitely stay there again. Hilton should use this design for all of their Garden Inn hotels.
“This is an excellent hotel. Very modern by European standards.”
A modern hotel in an excellent location, with very convenient access to Venice(buy a multi-trip ticket - bus and Water Bus - from the hotel reception). Spend your days wandering Venice via the Water Bus, dine at one of the many cafes in Venice and return to the hotel on the land bus for a restful air conditioned rest. This hotel will be even better when they work out their food service. The breakfast selection is great. The hotel needs to understand how to keep hot food hot eg scrambled eggs and bacon.
