The staff was friendly and was very informative, after checking in they gave me a map of Venice and circled the location of the closest water bus that could take us to/from St. Marks Square. Since our room wasn't ready yet (we arrived early in the morning) they were able to keep + store our luggage while we could explore Venice. Terrific hotel in the Carnereggio area of Venice. Location was great with many restaurants, shops and bars in the vicinity. All staff were super nice and accommodating. Room and bathroom were not huge but adequate. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Small hotel but someone at front desk 24/7. Breakfast was a terrific choice of many things. From fresh fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, pies, cold meats and cheeses as well as scrambled eggs, sausages, ham and grilled vegetables....

We really enjoyed staying at the Villa Barbarich! They had a shuttle to and from Venice which was super convenient, but the train station was also a short walk away and was another great way to get to and from Venice. I am so happy we stayed here compared to right in Venice, gave it more of a luxury holiday feel. The breakfast every morning was great and the staff were lovely. We had a garden room facing the pool which we really enjoyed. The property is so beautiful and has a lot of history!...

We actually stayed in an apartment attached to this boutique hotel. The apartment was spacious, and modern with high end showers. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is located in the perfect location, close to the S. Stae vaporetto stop, a wonderful little community with a fabulous bakery, pharmacy, restaurants, fruit stand. There was even an evening of tango in community square as well as a gondola station. It was a perfect stay!!
