"This hotel is stunning. My stay here was accidental as I had made a mistake booking a short distance away and failed to book my first night at The Holiday Inn. What was disappointing (having to leave and find another hotel) ended up being a delightful discovery. This hotel is elegant, charming, and historic. I thought I had stumbled into a strange Great Gatsby-style dream. Pricing was reasonable and my room was fantastic. I would recommend. "

"The property is nice. Room is a bit dated. The plugs are loose. Free WiFi is a plus. The hot water in the shower could be hotter. I think it’s a bit pricey but I was staying for a convention and I know I was paying for convenience of staying on site. "

"The hotel was nice. I had tv issues the entire time I was there. They came and attempted to fix it. We were able to get some of the channels working, but not the menu. The beds were just okay, but the view was amazing. I, also, had issues with cell service being slow/limited. Not a hotel issue, but something I wanted to note."

"I love the convenience of the location of this property to Michigan Ave. and the museums. The quality of the room could be improved. The toilet paper quality is terrible, the quality of the towels and bed linens are three star rated...and should be upgraded! Don't like that there is no carpeting in the hallways. It makes a noisy atmosphere. I asked for bottled water in my room and had to repeatedly ask for it every day....I stayed for a week! I should not have had to keep asking."

"The hotel was fine. It is extremely central to most usual tourist activities and worked really well in that regard. It has a weird entryway that you enter on the ground floor that is not the hotel and you go up a floor or so and then enter the hotel lobby. They have disposable plastic cups further wrapped in plastic instead of real drinking glasses. This was unusual and felt cheap. They have paper cups instead of real coffee cups which is less uncommon. Both of these felt eco unfriendly....
