"We spent a few nights in Galena to kick off our spring break and this cabin was the perfect fit for our family. We were so relaxed in the wooded surroundings and hope to return one day when the weather would allow us to enjoy the incredible deck! My teens loved the hot tub and we all played pool together in the evenings. It’s a spacious home that has been carefully tended to by its owners. "This home was very Beautiful and More Spacious than expected with a Beautiful back yard that we sadly didn’t get to enjoy because of the rain. The house location was great with A lot of stores and restaurants nearby. Next time we have a Family gathering I definitely will be rebooking"

"Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition. "We enjoyed this beautiful historic home with all the updated amenities. We especially enjoyed watching a family of foxes out the kitchen window in the early mornings and evenings. The kitchen area was easy and spacious. If you can walk hills, you'll love walking to and from downtown Galena."

"Our group had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and well-stocked. Two porches, one screened and the other open, provided nice areas for us to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We also liked the close proximity to Galena. Would definitely stay there again."

"The location was Great, GPS off a lil bit. There was a messy tree that our shoes dragged little buds in all the time. The key box was a little hard to open. The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. Little touches that make it feel personal. The beds were comfortable."
