Vancouver Island Ski Vacations

This is a huge room, more of an apartment actually. Very elegant. Full kitchen, dining and living room with separate bedroom. (Almost 1000 sq ft) Only complaint was no instructions for using all the Perhaps housekeeping neglected to leave. Very nice facility, but a bit overkill for us. Very clean.

The cottage was clean, well furnished and spacious. Loved that there was a back deck. The area was quiet and relaxing. Was a little confused by the cottage description, as it wasn‘t clear that there were actually two bedrooms, plus a loft with a bed. Had expected only one bed room so it was a good surprise.

The hotel was very beautiful and clean. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and my kids enjoyed it. The grounds were pretty, the coffee in the lobby was nice, and it was very quiet. The Nespresso pods in the hotel room were a nice touch and there was real cream in the fridge for us to use! We were able to stream shows through the TV which was nice for downtime. A couple issues: I was already in the shower and there was no body wash left in the container. This happened in 3 hotels I stayed at this summer - please check that these are full before releasing the room! A staff member came as quickly as they could to give us another one but it was still 15 minutes while I was waiting in the shower. We were also given an accessible room at check in (not booked) which ended up being a bit inconvenient for us as the dining table was awkward in the room and took up a lot of space, and the shower was completely open so the floor was soaking wet the whole time. With four of us showering daily this became a bit of a mess. There was no counter in the bathroom either which made it difficult to get ready for a wedding. Lastly, we were there with a few other families for a wedding and we all had the same last name - it would have been nice to be put together but for some reason we were put far away from the other three groups. Minor issue of course. Overall I would still stay here again but I would double check the room type I'm given and double check the shower amenities!

We had a lovely room with a fireplace overlooking the ocean. The bed was very comfortable and we found the path to the beach very accessible despite our age. We thought our accommodation was fair Value and when we return to Parksville area again in the next year or two we will certainly reserve at your excellent resort. Murray C
