Overall, very good. Points of dissatisfaction: - Not enough coffee in the room. When we called for more, they sent the wrong kind. - Toilet seats aren't soft-close. A rude (loud) awakening for guests. - Late check-out refused. And we didn't check in until after 7pm! - Restaurant was closed. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel - Not their fault, but VERY loud disco was blaring music outdoors until 11pm.

Great hotel stay. Very comfortable, clean and convenient. Having restaurant on-site was helpful after late check-in. Staff was excellent. 15 minute walk to downtown with bus stop available in front of hotel. It should be noted that you do have to walk outside from elevator to room, so if it’s raining then you will get wet. Room and amenities were very good. View from room was partially blocked from hotel access the street.

First the great about the hotel, the location is outstanding, nice size rooms, very clean. Breakfast at Louiza is outstanding as was food at the Lakeview and Fairview. We did the Glacier Basin experience which was also outstanding and not to be missed. Now to the not so good, the food at the Alpine bar was terrible, the Louiza on an evening was very average but because of the price that was unacceptable, at that price you expect good food. The toilets in several of the guest public areas are very tired and need updating. The resort charge at 50 CAD a night kind of baffled me as I wasn't sure what you really got for it, the parking was expensive at 45 cad a night but I suppose that goes with the territory. What was extortionate was the shuttle bus to Moraine Lake at 65 CAD +tax per person, for what's a 20 minute ride down the road. Check in was chaotic, room was not ready for 4pm, which to me is already a late check in time, luggage being brought up to room was around 30 minutes after we got in the room which also seemed a long time and we were sat waiting to get showered and changed as all our stuff was in cases. The nespresso pods in the room were never refilled until the last night of our 4 night stay, we had turn down service 1 night out of 4, don't know why they didn't do it other nights. All of these are minor things BUT when you're staying at a 5 star luxury hotel they are the small things that make or break the hotel so for the cost I expect better.
