Property can use some deep cleaning

Great hotel in great location. Only things to watch out for are there is no drop off location if you are driving yourself and the entrance staff are not helpful bordering on rude. Housekeeping is also hit and miss and often miss refilling some amenities. Everything else was great.

The elevators were slow, windows were filthy on the 4th floor and that specialty maternity ward made it feel like a prison.

Property can use some deep cleaning

We stayed in the King + Sofa Bed suite at the Residence Inn for 3 nights. Overall our stay was great and the hotel location was very convenient. The staff at the hotel were 5 stars, very helpful and always in good spirits. Breakfast was included and a great selection of food, including coffee options such as cold brew. The room itself has a full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge etc., so you could prepare your own food if needed. The mattress on the sofa bed in our room was not comfortable and really not useable. The staff were quick to remedy this and brought us a cot that was much more comfortable. The hotel itself seems to be going through upgrades. Our room was a bit dated and the sofa bed really needs to be upgraded. I would also suggest offering a two queen option. The kitchen is a nice to have but largely not needed for short stays in TO.
