I booked ocean view through Expedia which to my surprise meant an ocean view tower which you can look in the corner to see a partial view of the ocean. The hotel told me that I would have to pay $250 more a night for a true ocean view. The suites are the only rooms with true ocean views I was told. Staff was extremely nice and professional and I appreciate them alllowing me to book elsewhere after the first day when learning this information. I do believe they need to be more transparent about their room features.

Staff treats you great at the resort rooms were good just a little outdated and for me the bathroom has a weird smell. The food could have been better some days with some meats being overcooked but overall was a great resort.

The location was amazing. Restaurant and beaches were superb! Our pool needed a good cleaning with some algae on the walls but otherwise a perfect location

I loved this hotel, its decor, food, beach view and amenities were amazing. I 100% recommend it for a weekend trip or a long vacation.

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is absolutely our perfect in Aruba. It's literally just a few steps to the beach, to their beach bar or Horizons Bar on property. The convenience of everything close makes it easy to walk. Years ago, we did the sunset dinner on their beach, Passions, which was fabulous. Also, there's a grocery store that also sells alcohol just 5 mins away. And, right up the road is shopping & restaurants, plus the "night-life". It's far enough away, that if you turn in early for bed, you're not hearing it all. This may sound crazy, but the coffee machine & coffee pods in our room were superb. The resort cleaning staff kept refilling those pods daily, as well washing the dishes we eft in the sink to wash later after returning from the beach.(It's those little things) And, I've searched the US to buy the machine, but can't find. They do sell it at the local grocery store in Aruba. But finding the coffee pods in the US are also challenging. So, we'll just keep going back to our favorite resort!!! The location is beautiful! You get an amazing ocean view from the rear of hotel and a beautiful mountain view from the front entrance. Very clean and spacious rooms !!

This is our favorite spot to stay at every time we visit the island. Everyone is always helpful. Well maintained the only thing is the bar wasn’t open. Would be nice to stay in and have some drinks and food by the pool. The bar is owned by someone else so the hotel does not control it. The beach is close and there are a couple spots close by to eat and watch the sunset.
