Grand Hyatt Baha Mar - before booking/arriving, contact was made with the hotel concierge regarding gluten-free options at resort. Was told there was plenty of availability for gluten-free everywhere at the resort. Once I arrived, only the high end restaurants that were not open for breakfast/lunch understood gluten-free. I also got ill after dining at Cleo restaurant even though I was told my food was gluten free. I believe it was from cross contamination as the breakfast buffet was allowing customers to use the gluten free toaster without supervision and customers were toasting gluten containing bread in that toaster. This is a BIG PROBLEM for people with celiac disease. Better education is needed for the resort, staff, restaurants, concierge, etc. regarding Celiac Disease. It is a serious disease and needs to be taken as such. This is not a choice and accommodations for those with this disease should be made so not to sicken people. Room - every night the room next to ours was partying, yelling, screaming, slamming doors until 5 AM. Guest services were called and they said they would send up security but never did. We paid for an upgraded room prior to arrival and our friends did not. It was great that the front desk upgraded them for free but not really fair to us as we paid full price and could not enjoy a peaceful stay or eat without issues due to not accommodating for Celiac when we were told there would be no issue regarding eating in that aspect. Very Disapp

Beautiful property but everything is very expensive so be prepared. I enjoyed the pool and beach. A few employees had serious attitudes with just doing their jobs (mainly room service workers). Most serious complaint is I left some items in the bathroom, when I noticed the next day after I got home, sent the property an email and still no response! Don’t know if I would return.
