Great location. Nice hotel with a rustic vibe.

The location is very convenient, however the hotel is beginning to show its age as the rooms are dated. The room lighting etc are all controlled via a central unit in both the bedroom and lounge. As for the desk in the bedroom there is only one wall plug and that was used for power the WIFI router with no additional USB type connectors. How does one use and charge a laptop etc.? The shower door was a poor fit with water leaking onto the floor, i won't mention the shower rose either, something that would be more fitting in a two star hotel. Plus the constant ticking noise from the water pipes. The carpeting within the lifts is poorly fitting and really does need to be replaced. So would I stay again, probability due in part due to its location.

A wonderful property. A little out of town but worth it. Service was great! New took care of all of our requests.

Friendly staff. Close location to everything. A little overpriced for what it is but I also came during the festivals.

Outstanding boutique hotel in a great location in the old city. This hotel is a passion project for its architect builder. Every last detail is perfectly curated. 3 gardeners sweep the lawn early each morning so no cheeky leaves spoil the perfect green. The public areas a decorated with Thai and Chinese antiques. Ming dynasty horses guard the restaurant building and Ming lions guard the guest areas. The ambience of the hotel is Luxe ancient China. The staff and service is outstanding, friendly not stuffy and very personalised. We ate at the hotel restaurant 2 of the 6 nights we stayed, delicious food priced at a similar level to a decent restaurant elsewhere in the city. Breakfast is chosen from a menu, 3 choices allowed, all the usual Western favourites feature as well as a couple of Thai soups. We booked the hotel car for a day to take us to Doi Suthep and a few other places. It was a very comfortable Van. The driver, Noi was fantastic, a terrific guide and gave good suggestions for extra places to visit. The location is an easy walk to watch Phra Singh, lots of upmarket spas and a number of nice cafes. We used Grab to get around, a car always appeared at the hotel within 5 minutes of being ordered. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay on our next trip to Chiang Mai.
