Disney's Maingate West Golf Vacations

I have never had a problem with Mystic Dunes. However, this trip was horrible. It started great! Room was great, everything was going well. Check in Aug 7th Check out Aug 12th On Sunday Aug 9th we get a text in the afternoon that maintenance is scheduled from the 9th -15 huh??!! Also, to park 2 lots away and walk back to room!!! eHllo did anyone ask if I have a medical condition noooo I have RA that has blown my joint in foot and tore the tendon up the heel so walking is a challenge!! Monday the 10th at 650 am you hear the machines coming in at 730 am as I am eating breakfast on patio 2 heads pop up and staring at me eating breakfast??? Needless to say annoying!! Get a text that says it will start at 8 am ok LOL it started at 650 every day Paint fumes so bad my grandson has asthma and it has messed him up. Paint everywhere on the floors it was a mess. You could not walk, messed up his brand new shoes!!! Best part on the 12th my checkout was 12pm they were calling at 8am and the maintenance supervisor was told we left night before??? Very annoying and absolutely the worst experience ever.

The rooms are clean. The amenities are excellent. The hospitality of the transports are great.

The property was nice and has a lot of things to do. The only reason why I would say my stay wasn’t great was due to the fact we were thrown into a sales pitch we didn’t want. When we checked in, the “tour” was not optional, they asked when we wanted to book it. Then they took the no show fee from my card before the “tour” was even scheduled. Come to find out, it’s a timeshare presentation and they are very pushy and clearly the timeshare staff and front desk staff are not on the same page. The timeshare staff were pleasant at first, then once they knew we had no interest in a timeshare even from the beginning. They were incredibly rude. My fiancé and I went to have a nice birthday vacation, and it ended sour. But the property was nice.

Clean environment, enjoy the game room and theater, I would stay there again
