Jamaica Romantic Vacations

The resort was very disappointing overall. The food and drinks were the same every day, with very little variety. Unfortunately, we also had issues with bugs getting into our drinks immediately after they were served. The staff was extremely slow with nearly everything, which made the overall experience frustrating. The beach area was also across the street from the resort, and cars were driving by very fast, which made crossing the road feel unsafe

Positives: Food was great, especially Gondola. The beach was nice and calm, with plenty of available lounge chairs and umbrellas. It was on a bay, not the ocean, so the water was calm, and not a lot of vendors. Big variety of pools. Dolphin experience was fantastic. Negatives: As with most resorts, impossible to get a pool side lounge chair - they were "reserved" before we got up (although reserving was ostensibly forbidden, this was not enforced.) Way too many unused chairs were restricted to "residence" members. Disappointed that before we were checked in, they attempted to upsell us to a more expensive room (for an extra $1200). Both coming and going, we were assaulted by attempts to sell us residence memberships. Not why I go on vacation. Also, while we loved the dolphins, no photos allowed, and the price for their photo package was astronomical - >$200, five times what we paid for photos at other outings.

Everything was nice, food was good. Parties was great, definitely had fun and enjoyed my solo birthday trip. Recommend staying at the Palace to have access to all three resorts

Love the beach

My room was clean .. housekeeping was ok.. not extremely helpful. The staff some were nice others were not as pleasant. The lights in my room and my daughter's room kept going out..when I asked maintenance they said it was motion sensor, however we were moving.. It went out as I was ironing (very dangerous) and as I was taking a shower even when I was about to walk out. I complained again and nothing was done only we are so sorry. Went to a restaurant for dinner and the chair handle was already broken.. I hurt my wrist. They just moved the chair to the side, how will the next person know its broken. My mom is elderly and has a difficult time with the stairs.. there is no elevators and its alot of walking or waiting for a pick up. It is a beautiful property and need maintenance in some places nothing is around there if you want to go off resort. The drinks are terrible and the food is bland but I just didn't enjoy the staff it was a hit or miss they often were very defensive and then said sorry. The SPA however was wonderful that is the only reason I would ever go back.Kristle at the front was extremely helpful. It was a total of 30 family members and some of us gotten sick not sure if it was food but they were in the bathroom for 3 days of our 6night stay. NO I cannot recommend or return. Too many All Inclusive options to go back. It was one thing after another.if you go The buffet is better. Sports Bar is good as well. It is kid friendly, Service just could be better.
