"Awesome"
Stayed in a Junior Suite, this was well worth it, large, clean and cozy. The staff were amazing, Moya, Joseph, Simon, Julio and Anesha were just awesome, went the extra mile and extremely pleasant. Not to mention the food; breakfast was delicious with authentic Jamaican meals everyday.

"Nice and comfortable"
The welcoming was very warm when we checked into Courtleigh. This was our first time staying there, I visited family there before and was not impressed with the room. So I was very skeptical about our stay. All that sceptism was out the door once we stepped foot in the suite. We booked a deluxe room and was upgraded to a suite, which we enjoyed. It was very spacious and clean, it is a good choice for families with kids, you will not be on top of each other. The food was good as well. I enjoyed every drop of the red peas soup and would go back for more. I found one fault during our stay at Courtleigh; we ordered dinner and I asked for the total, I was told that a phone call would follow shortly with my total. That phone call never came! Quickly there was a knock on the door and it was room service with our food, when I saw the total I was speechless. I ordered bacon for my son's burger and no bacon arrived yet we were charged for it. Had I got the total beforehand I would have made the necessary adjustment to the order. I was concerned about refusing the delivery and in the end it was my wallet that was hugely inconvenient. The next morning we ordered breakfast and I asked for my total, I was told I would get a call back with that information, I told the guy about my experience the evening before, he promised that he would call back with my total and he kept his word and added the bacon we did not get the previous night.

"Decent stay close to the airport"
Room was clean and quiet, food was really good with a nice view of Kingston across the bay. You can't check in until 3pm (no flexibility so the only option is to go to the bar/restaurant), but it was easy to organise a taxi to the airport (15 min) for my morning flight. While breakfast was included, it doesn't open until 7am so for those leaving early there was none (a take away breakfast option would have been good). I'd recommend it as a reasonably priced option close to the airport.

"Very nice hotel"
Our stay was short (two-nights), but rather enjoyable. The breakfast (included) was first-class -- couldn't ask for more and the service was excellent. The big surprise was the Disco on Friday night! it was quite enjoyable. I hope this lasts since we plan on a return trip. This is a first class hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Relaxing and picture perfect but...."
This resort perched atop Kingston's Blue Mountain is absolutely beautiful and enriched by old world charm. Dating back to the late 1700's, the old world charm has been maintained and make this resort truly unique. Owned by music mogul Chris Blackwell who arguably brought Bob Marley to world attention, this resort is special. Pictures suround the restaurant of famed guests from Bob Marley himself to Prince Charles, to Grace Jones to Mick Jaguar....the list goes on and on. One starts to get the feel very quickly that this place is a hidden gem where many well known and unknown have found solice from the craziness of the the rest of the world. Unfortunately, the management nor the staff seem to approach this venue with the sacred reverence it deserves. To put it mildly, the staff and manager (who is on sight daily- probably lives on the property) doesn't seem to take much more pride in working at this place than they would if they worked at the local Holiday Inn Express. This attitude is shown by the overall lack of attention to detail. Items listed on the limited menu in the one restaurant on sight are not available. With only 14 rooms and cottages, one would think that guests would have their choices of a daily array of delicious chef prepared meals from which to choose....not the case. The accoutrements of this place is nothing short of amazing, but the service is average to mediocre at best.

"The price is right "
Good value for money hotel. Very serene. The wooden floors however ensures that you hear all creeks from other rooms. The walls are thin making it easy to hear conversations in the hallway. Although the continental breakfast was not really continental as it did not include even eggs, you could order from the menu.
