The pictures of the rooms showed in expedia are so different than the actual room. The rooms are a bit small.

"Spectacular views of the Mountains."
Views are great, and with the renovation currently started, it's going to be an amazing respite in the mountains. You can hike to many destinations there. It's not the most convenient place to start if you would like to hike to the top of The Blue Mountains but you can get to the top of several other peaks with spectacular views including Cinchona. The staff is excellent and the chalet has a very French feel to it. Driving to the top will be a challenging, but that's a treat in itself.

"Amazing views but impersonal hotel"
Strawberry Hills is in a stunning location that will take your breath away. The bed is one of the comfiest we've slept in and the pool is spectacular. The food is good but breakfast was rather sugar heavy. When we asked to switch cake (which comes with the standard breakfast included in the room rate) for eggs or a Jamaican breakfast this wasn't possible without paying for a new breakfast in full. We were also celebrating a 30th birthday and got engaged the day before we arrived. We mentioned this to the hotel but received no token of congratulations for this at all. Not even a note! We found this quite astonishing for what is meant to be a five star experience. Overall, Strawberry Hills is wonderful for one night but given the price, we would recommend staying elsewhere after that. There's so much to do in Kingston that it's definitely fun to spend some time down in the action after you've absorbed the views.

"Quaint hotel/guest house in the midst of nature."
This is a great little hotel (but really more of a guest house). I give the overall rating a 4 out of 5. I want to be clear I am not using a star rating like you might assign to the Intercontinental or Hyatt Regency, but more of a 4 out of 5 experience. I believe that when you travel you need to connect with your surroundings. This hotel is located at 5,000 feet above sea level in the mountains of Jamaica. It's a lush setting and a different environment than most travelers on this site will ever experience. The staff is excellent. Tanya and her team do a great job of making you feel at home. The chef is very accommodating with providing meals each day. The grounds are beautiful. I've been coming to this part of Jamaica for years and this a great trip and can thank the hosts for helping to contribute to my stay. 2 night stay is probably all the typical traveler needs before experiencing another location on the island.

"Fantastic B&B"
Wonderful B&B. Michelle and her team were so friendly and we felt like we left having made some great friends. We ate dinner here too and the food was outstanding. The views of the bird life and butterflies in the garden whilst eating breakfast was stunning. The rooms were really comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Michelle went out of her way to help us with bookings and things to do. She is definitely in the right business and her knowledge of Jamaican history was fantastic too!

"Nice hotel but over charge."
Nice hotel but over charge for overall. for what you pay, the breakfast can be better (only coffee, bread, juice, and fruit are included if you want eggs and bacon or something else you have to pay), the restaurant can be much better too, but you have across the street "the best in the west" is excellent and the restaurant at cocolapalm is good too if you don't want walk too fare. The room are very nice, and the bed are very clean and confortable, but internet is very slow, you will not be able to watch videos, download app,... but you can download a page and read.

"Comfortable and feels like home"
Quite ok except for the main lobby - not at the reception desk - the board flooring needs to be repaired everyone who walks through the lobby steps vibrates the floor causing guests who are sitting to feel vibrations in their chairs from people's trotting steps. Extremely annoying for not just me but many others sitting in the lobby.
