We had a horrible experience with everything from check-in to room A/C not working, and the pool was hot, not even refreshing. They sell you an all-inclusive when in fact there are different levels of their all-inclusive, we had a "blue band" which only allowed us to eat at certain restaurants, and we couldn't request drinks be made with anything other than their cheap liquor, if you have a "black band" then you have access to more places to eat and you get the better alcohol. We were advised to make reservations for the Dos Lunas and Bahia Steak House and which it took a couple of days for there to be availability and then the Bahia Steakhouse was pretty much empty majority of the time we were seated. I would definitely pay extra to stay somewhere that is in fact all inclusive, and makes you feel like you are on vacation.

Checkout process can be made better, especially with pre self checkout available in the app. There shouldn’t be a need to wait in line to checkout at the concierge

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Mia Reef was absolutely unforgettable! The views were phenomenal!! waking up surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water felt like a dream. The customer service was top-tier, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was one of the best parts of our trip. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options every day, and the Cevichería was by far our favorite. The fresh ceviche was incredible and is a must-try! The pool was amazing, especially with the swim-up bar, making it the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful ocean views. The only downside to our stay was the constant pressure to attend a timeshare/membership presentation. We were approached multiple times, and it got to the point where we felt like we had to avoid the lobby just to not be asked again. While it didn’t ruin our vacation, it was the one aspect that took away from an otherwise perfect experience. Overall, Mia Reef is a beautiful resort with breathtaking scenery, outstanding service, amazing food, and a fantastic pool. We would definitely return!

The property was clean, relaxing, well maintained and I would go back for sure.

Decent place for families

This place is ok, but definitely not a 5 star experience. From the moment we got there, the bathtub was dirty literally had hairs and dirt like nobody has ever cleaned it. People were just not attentive in general. They promised a late checkout and had us struggle until last minute to confirm whether they could do it or not, lastly almost made us lose our flight because nobody would come to help with our luggage’s we had to carry it by ourselves to be able to leave and not lose our flight. If you are use to 5 star resort this is not it.
